Purchased 100 units from the store and only 2 were defective. Contacted the seller and they are replacing those units. Great communication and problem resolution means I will happily be buying more of these when I need them from this selller. The product itself is compact, functional, and no-frills. There is no notification with the light when the battery is full and thus charging can be stopped, but a test from empty showed that for 30 minutes of charging I had 90 minutes of use at maximum volume. Based on the 10-hour battery life estimate, that means it would take 4 hours to fully charge.
